MIFCO has officially inaugurated fish processing facility in Fuvahmulah City.

The newly established fish processing facility in Fuvahmulah City has been officially inaugurated by the Minister of State for Fisheries and Marine Resources, Mohamed Mutalib, at a special ceremony held in the city.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by MIFCO CEO Brigadier General (Rtd.) Farhath Shaheer and MIFCO Strategic Consultant Athif Shakoor. Also present were South Fuvahmulah City MP Ibrahim Hussain, Fuvahmulah City Mayor Ismail Rafeeq, and members of the Fuvahmulah City Council.

The establishment of the new facility will enhancing fish processing capacity and strengthening fisheries-related infrastructure in Fuvahmulah City.
